A new song by a relatively unknown rock band has sky-rocketed up the charts, perplexing many music critics who are trying to understand the song’s appeal. The song is called “Why Don’t You Squeeze My Left Nut” by the band Raging Mass. Lead singer Horatio Kowalski, who goes by the stage name Johnny Hormone, said he came up with the idea for the song while sitting around the house with his girlfriend. “Susan and I were both bored one day,” Hormone recounted. “I was cracking some walnuts at the kitchen table using a nutcracker. Susan and I were smoking cigarettes online, as usual, when she tried to poke fun at me by suggesting that real men don’t need to use a nutcracker to break open walnuts — real men should be able to crush them with their bare hands. So I squeezed one walnut as hard as I could but I couldn’t crack it open.”
